Reviewers
Feature video
| Who is this for? | Required permissions and licenses |
|---|---|
| • Organizations that handle sensitive meetings: committees, HR interviews, strategic client meetings. • Teams that want to review AI-generated content before sharing it with participants or the CRM. | • Requires a license that includes the feature (Business). • Activation requires the right to change company settings (administrator role). • A meeting's Reviewers are managed by its organizer or by any user with Reviewer management permission (included in company manager-type roles). |
How to use it
Enable the feature for your company
Go to Settings > My Company and enable the toggle "Enable call page validation by Reviewers".
To disable the feature, turn off the same switch. You'll be asked to confirm: "Disabling manual validation will make all validated and in-review calls public. Are you sure?". Calls still awaiting review will then be published automatically, but with access restricted to the Reviewers already designated.
Assign Reviewers to a meeting
Reviewers are set up before the meeting, from Meeting Hub:
- On the upcoming meeting's card, click the "Reviewers" button (a badge shows the number of Reviewers already assigned).
- On the Meeting Hub page, enable "Request a review".
- Select the Reviewer(s) via the "Select Reviewer(s)" field.
Only internal meeting participants (active users of your company) can be Reviewers. By default, the meeting organizer is suggested as a Reviewer.
For a recurring meeting, an extra option appears: "This is a recurring meeting: would you like to enable the same default Reviewers?". If you enable it, the same Reviewers will automatically be assigned to every occurrence of the series.
Let the review start after the meeting
As soon as the recording is processed and the AI content is generated, the call moves to pending review. Each Reviewer receives:
- an in-app notification ("A review has been requested on a call");
- an email "Meeting awaiting review" with a direct link to the meeting. This email notification, "Call review request", can be configured individually in
Settings > Notifications.
Meanwhile, for all other users:
- the call page is inaccessible: if they try to open it, they see the screen "This call is under review:" with the list of Reviewers;
- in call lists, the thumbnail shows a lock with the note "Review in progress..." and actions (sharing, sending, deletion, etc.) are disabled;
- the call doesn't appear in their lists, searches, or reports.
Review, correct, and validate
When opening the call page, Reviewers see a banner: "You are currently in Reviewer mode. You are the only ones who can see and edit this page before making it public to all other participants.". They can then freely edit the content: summary, transcript, notes, participants, etc.
Once the review is complete, click "Validate and make public". A confirmation window opens, letting you:
- check and adjust the call's access and sharing rules;
- choose to "Publish and notify members" (enabled by default): participants will then receive the usual new-call email, indicating that the page has been made public by the Reviewers.
After validation, the call page becomes visible to participants (according to access rules) and all deferred automatic deliveries are triggered: CRM note, Notion, Google Drive, notifications…
Going further
- Validation unlocks all pending automatic deliveries: CRM sync, sending to Notion and Google Drive, email notifications. Nothing goes out until the call is validated.
- After validation, the page stays protected: "This call has been reviewed. Only reviewers can edit it.". Other users can view it but can't edit its content.
- On a recurring series, enabling default Reviewers avoids reconfiguring each occurrence manually.
- If the feature isn't enabled in company settings, the configuration panel shows "This feature isn't enabled in your settings." with a "Go to settings" button.
Frequently asked questions
Things to watch out for
- Once the meeting is recorded, review can no longer be disabled for that call: it will proceed until validation.
- As long as the call isn't validated, no automatic delivery takes place: forgetting to validate blocks the CRM note and participant notifications.
- The review request email depends on each Reviewer's notification preferences: check that the "Call review request" option is enabled in
Settings > Notifications. - Global deactivation publishes pending calls without warning participants: make sure to communicate internally before turning off the feature.
